We offer comprehensive ADHD assessments for children, adolescents, and adults, both in-person and via telehealth. Our goal is to provide accurate diagnoses and personalized treatment recommendations to help individuals thrive.
Our Assessment Process:
Our assessment process is thorough and multi-faceted, designed to gather a comprehensive understanding of your or your child's unique needs. It typically includes the following components:

Comprehensive Clinical Interview: A detailed interview covering developmental history, current symptoms, challenges in different settings (home, school, work), and family history. This allows us to understand the individual's specific experiences and concerns. This interview can be conducted in person or via telehealth.

Standardized Questionnaires and Rating Scales: We utilize validated questionnaires and rating scales completed by the individual, parents, teachers (for children and adolescents), or significant others to assess the frequency and severity of ADHD symptoms. These can be easily administered and completed remotely.

Behavioral Observations (if applicable): Direct observation of behavior in specific settings may be conducted, especially for children. For telehealth assessments, we may request parent/caregiver observation and feedback on specific tasks.

Review of Records (with consent): We may review relevant records, such as school reports or previous medical evaluations, to gain a broader understanding of the individual's history. This can be facilitated remotely.

Cognitive and Neuropsychological Screening: Brief screening tools may be used to assess specific cognitive functions related to attention, memory, and executive function. Some of these tools can be adapted for telehealth administration.

Objective Measurement of Attention, Impulsivity, and Activity: Our assessment utilizes advanced technology similar to the QBCheck to objectively measure attention, impulsivity, and activity levels during a focused task. This provides quantifiable data that complements other assessment methods. The results are presented in a detailed report comparing the individual's performance to others of the same age and gender, offering valuable insights into their specific challenges. This testing can often be conducted remotely with appropriate guidance.
Telehealth Assessments:
We offer the convenience of telehealth assessments for individuals who prefer this option or who reside in areas where in-person assessments are not readily available. Telehealth assessments are conducted securely and confidentially using video conferencing technology. They offer the same comprehensive evaluation as in-person assessments.
What to Expect:
The assessment process typically involves 1 sessions and may take 1 day to complete, whether in-person or via telehealth. We strive to create a comfortable and supportive environment for all our clients. Following the assessment, you will receive a comprehensive report outlining the findings, diagnosis (if applicable), and personalized recommendations for treatment and support.
